The much-heralded launch of the Rocketboom videoblog on TiVo appears to be delayed at least until next week. It was supposed to download this week to TiVo units whose owners signed up for it. But an unknown snag has hindered the launch.The word comes from "TiVoPony," the user name of someone in the TiVo Community bulletin board who is labeled as being with TiVo product marketing. He posted comments about Rocketboom after users began asking where it was.
"We've hit a couple of stumbling blocks with the Rocketboom trial; it looks like we won't be able to launch this just yet," he wrote on Dec. 12. "We know that many of you have been looking forward to your first download today, and we appreciate your enthusiasm. We can't say just yet when we'll have a "good to launch" signal -- but the weather forecast isn't looking very good this week."
